Nagaland Tour with Kaziranga & Guwahati

Day 1: ARRIVAL GUWAHATI

Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will be taken to visit Heritage Sites of Delhi visiting the famous Basistha Ashram, ISKCON Guwahati, Regional Science Center, Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra and Bhubaneswari Temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Early morning, after breakfast we will proceed toward Kaziranga National Park. On arrival, check in at Lodge/Resort. Afternoon visit the tribal villages or the tea gardens. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at resort.

Day 3: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Today morning you will enjoy the elephant ride followed by an excursion to the Western range of the park. Afternoon visit the Eastern range for birding. Dinner and overnight at the Resort.

Day 4: KAZIRANGA – KOHIMA – TOUPHEMA

After an early breakfast drive to kohima. On arrival proceed to Touphema Village Resort  run by Angami Naga village community. Enjoy cultural presentation by village folks. Stay overnight at Touphema Tourist village.

Day 5: TOUPHEMA – KOHIMA – DIMORI COVE – KOHIMA

Spent your morning in exploring  the village. After breakfast check out of the village resort & drive back to Kohima.  On arrival, check-in at hotel. Later you will be taken to visit the WW II Cemetery, nestled in the heart of Kohima town.
Also visit State Museum, located at Bayani hill Kohima.After then proceed to Kepfiizha (Kigwema village) Dimori Cove Guest house after lunch. This small but beautiful place is on the Kohima Imphal Highway, which we use as base for trekking up the Japfu Peak (3048 metre Mt) Japfu, home of the world’s tallest rhododendron tree (20 metres high) and also for trekking to Dzukou Valley, the best trekking valley of North-East India. Following lines greets you to Dzukou. At afternoon visit nearby Angami village of Jakhama. Return to Kohima. Stay overnight at Kohima.

Day 6: KOHIMA – KHONOMA – KOHIMA

After an early breakfast drive to Angami Tribal village of Khonoma, home village of father of Naga Nationalist movement Angami Phizo. This village located on top of a hillock has a pastoral beauty of its own. This was where the Last part of the Anglo Naga War was fought. Return to Kohima for overnight stay.

Day 7: KOHIMA – DIMAPUR

After an early breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dimapur. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or you can opt. to visit Chumukedima, Zoological Park, Shiva Temple, Kachari Ruins etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 8: DEPARTURE

Early morning, have you breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
