Wildlife Tour to Orissa

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT BHUBANESHWAR

On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later if time persists you can opt to visit on a half-day sightseeing and visit the famous tribal museum, Khandagiri and Udaigiri Jain caves (oldest cut caves). Later drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: EXPLORE BHUBANESHWAR

Early in the morning, take your breakfast and then continue your sightseeing tour visiting some of the famous temples like Lingaraj, Parsurameshwar, Mukteshwar (known as the “Gem of Orissian architecture”), and Rajarani Temple. Later in the noon, have your lunch and then you will be taken to visit Nadankanan Zoo. This zoo is famous for White Tiger Safari and Botanical Garden. Later in the evening drive back to your hotel.

DAY 3: DRIVE TO BHITARKANIKA

Early morning, have your breakfast and then proceed to Rajnagar and then take the boat cruise to Dangmal-hub of the sanctuary (45 minutes scenic cruise from Khola-entry point). During the boat journey, you will enjoy the Mangrove forest & crocodiles. On arrival, check in at the forest cottage at Dangmal. Later in the evening, enjoy your cup of Tea/coffee and relax with the scenic view and endangered deer.

DAY 4: EXPLORE BHITARKANIKA

In the morning, after taking breakfast you will be taken to visit the Bird Sanctuary and trekking into the Hunting tower of the ancient King of Kanika. (Trek will be 3/4 hrs). Later in the evening, you will be taken to visit Crocodile Museum & Interpretation Centre. Dinner and Overnight at Forest Cottage.

DAY 5: DRIVE TO PURI

In the morning, after breakfast check out from the forest cottage and cruise back to Khola (the exit point) to have a last look at nature’s paradise. Later drive back to Puri via Bhubaneswar. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Relax for a while on the golden beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 6: EXPLORE KONARK

In the morning, have your breakfast and then you will be taken to visit Jagannath temple. Later proceed to Konark to visit the Sun temple (one of the world-famous heritage sites, also known as black pagoda) en-route to visit Ramchandi Temple & Chandrabhaga Beach. Also, visit the Fishermen Village. Return to Puri. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed) / Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 7: DRIVE TO PURI and DEPARTURE:

In the morning, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bhubaneshwar to board a flight/train to your respective destination.
