Day 1: ARRIVAL AHMEDABAD
Assistance on arrival at Airport, you will be welcome by our representative. Later check in the hotel, relax for a while, and then you will be taken to visit the Calico Museum of Textiles and other museums exhibiting textiles and handicrafts. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: DRIVE TO GONDAL
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Sayla. On arrival, have your lunch and then you will be taken to visit nearby villages to watch weavers at work and see local beadwork. Later, continue to Gondal. On arrival, check in hotel and then you will be taken for sightseeing visiting the cottage industries of Gondal to watch spinners, weavers, and other artisans at work along with the famous Naulakha Palace having a great collection of beautiful beadwork, brass utensils, silverware and hand-painted wooden toys from the princely collection. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: DRIVE TO GIR
Early morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Gir en-route visit Jetpur, known for its screen-printing factories, block printing, and textile units. Later, you will be taken to visit the Junagadh museums exhibiting textiles of the erstwhile Nawab including beautiful carpets at Junagarh.
On arrival, check into the hotel at Gir. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: DRIVE TO JAMNAGAR
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a short trip to the Gir Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. Later in the noon, continue your journey to Junagarh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Relax a while and then you will be taken to watch workers doing bandhani (tie-and-dye) work. Later in the evening, the rest of the time is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: DRIVE TO KUTCH
Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Anjar city in the Kutch district which is a centre for textile and metal handicrafts. On arrival, check in hotel. Later, you will be taken to visit Gandhidam known for its excellent textile market.
Day 6: EXCURSION TO BHUJ
After breakfast, you will be taken to explore Runn Of Kutch. Later, proceed to Bhuj en route visit villages known for their ajrakh block printing, Ahir embroidery, Rabari embroidery, and master weavers. Later, you can opt to visit markets and monuments. Drive back to Kutch. Dinner and overnight at Kutch.
Day 7: EXCURSION TO VILLAGE
After breakfast, you will be taken to visit the villages of Sodha Rajputs, Muslim pastoral groups like the Jaths and Muthwas and their sub-groups, Hindu pastoral groups like the Rabaris, Meghwal Harijans, and other communities known for their exquisite embroidery. Overnight stay at Kutch.
Day 8: DRIVE TO DASADA
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dasada which is known for its Vadiara Rabari and Bharwad embroidery. You can also opt to visit weavers and other artisans. Dinner and overnight stay at Dasada.
Day 9: EXCURSION TO PATAN
After breakfast, you will be taken for an excursion tour to Patan which is known for Patola Silk Weaving, a rare double-ikat weaving technique. Later in the evening, drive back to Dasada for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: DRIVE TO AHMEDABAD
Early morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Ahmedabad to board your respective flight/train for onward destination.
